Paşabağ contains some of the most striking fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with twin and even triple rock caps - formations that are unique even for Cappadocia! Locals refer to them as the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys.
Zelve is an open valley with a large cave settlement. The small area has fifteen Byzantine-era cave churches and remained a Turkish village until 1960.
Devrent Valley, which is also known as Imaginary Valley and also as Pink Valley does not have cave churches like the other valleys of Cappadocia. The valley also has many animal shaped rocks.
Avanos pottery demonstration famous for pottery works which started around the 2nd millenium B.C. by Hittite people. You will have a tour of the town and then you will visit a pottery workshop to learn about red clay work and ceramics.
Göreme Panorama, which offers one of the best views of the area. Your guide will explain about the geology of the region and how the unique landscape was created.
Underground City has 18 levels connected with narrow tunnels and rock ladders. You will visit animal stalls, storage spaces for food and weapons, a church, winery, oil press, kitchen, classrooms and other parts of the 8 levels which are open for visitors.
Pigeon Valley is a fantastic place where certain cave dwellings have been painted white to attract the birds for their valuable droppings. The valley is also famous for its beautiful views.
The final look at stone today is a chance to visit a work shop where craftsmen create beautiful and useful objects from colourful translucent onyx.
